Dance Company Preview/Auditions!!
Yup, its time dancers, for an adventurous dance audition of the year!
Cardinal Dance Company, for all levels of dancers that are welcome! From Beginning to the Advanced, from the low to high levels, from 9-12 grade, all dancers are highly welcome and are adequate to audition and be a part of Cardinal Dance Company’s crew. For the Audition Preview day, students who do not have to have experiences in dance can come to Ms. Brunels class in S2 on Southside, to go view and learn some of the moves and actions you might be asked to attempt during the audition. Even if Dance isn’t your best fit, it would be wonderful if you decided to at least try it out just to see what dance is all about. For the Audition Day, students who want to come and try out the CDC audition, first fill out a form, then start a brief warm up with all the dancers, then begin to dance. for us Dancers, Ms. Brunel runs the audition like a class, she starts us off with a new combo, or allows dancers to spread their creativity and add more on the dancing with created choreography. This is all based on Student Choreography. In conclusion, if you or any other WHS student would like to try and do any creative dancing, or would like to just dance for fun, please let Ms. Brunel know so that we can be able to build Cardinal Dance Company. -Leilani H.
