Before ending this school year, Whittier High School ASB presents you the last and unforgettable Farewell Assembly. Class of 2025, Seniors before graduation, experience their last and happily moments of high school before they leave high school and move on to college. Yes, being a senior can have different perspectives than being a freshman. So, here I have some behind-the-scenes moments to show you during the Farewell Assembly. First we often start the Assembly with The Pledge Of Allegiance and the most infamous Star Spangled Banner. Next, as ATC pulls down the curtains setting up the projector to show the Senior’s Athletic Awards. As the Assembly goes on, ATC gets ready to show a mini slideshow movie made for the senior’s as good bye memories that all the seniors have made throughout their high school years. After the most memorable slide show that the audience has experienced, ATC gets ready to transition their last curtain change to for Dance. As ASB Presents their last performance before ending the Assembly, Whittier High School Dance 2,3,4 happily dances to their song “Abracadabra” by Lady Gaga, one last time before they end their high school career. Here as its the dancers last time performing their last dance of their Jazz piece, the final pose that ends their performance, the amazed applauses, the cheering, and when we exit off the stage, it is finished.

As the senior’s prepare for graduation next month, I just want to say how happy and proud I am of this year’s senior students. How hardworking they have been. I hope they achieve their goals, do whatever they want to do to succeed in life. When they move on to college and graduate, I hope they see how proud they are of themselves from striving through freshman year all the way to senior year and officially starting a new chapter in their life. This was an amazing Assembly and I can’t wait to obereve more within my next two years of my high school career.
