WHATS IT ABOUT?

Helen Keller becomes blind and deaf after suffering from an illness and has spent most of her life not being able to communicate with anyone, making her difficult and aggressive at times. Her last chance before being put into an institution is Annie Sullivan, A teacher from the school for the blind who perseveres and creates a strong bond with Helen, showing her ways to communicate and grow.

What excites you the most about theatre?

What excites me most about playing Helen is getting to show people all the work I’ve put into playing her and just making sure I represent her perfectly because she was an incredible person.

Who is your biggest inspiration in acting?

My biggest inspiration in acting will always be Emma Stone, she’s my favorite actress ever and I just think she’s so amazing in every single show/movie she’s in.

Why do you love theatre?

I love theatre because of how much there is to gain from doing a performance and being around people who love and enjoy doing something you love to do too.
