When did you join basketball and why? 

I joined basketball during my Freshman year, although I’ve been playing since I was 3 years old and decided to start competitively in 6th grade. I found basketball fun and made most friends throughout the sport! 

Do you plan to continue playing basketball for college/university? 

Yes, I plan and hope to continue playing basketball at university/college. 

Have you faced any challenges or injuries before?

Basketball also has tough times, like when I sprained my ankle “twice”.  -I had to stop playing for a week which was challenging since it was sooo boring.  

What motivates you to stay consistent with basketball? 

My main motivation is my Mom =) She’s been my biggest supporter since day 1.

Do you have any favorite memories? 

One of my favorite memories has to be Winning league for my varsity year! 

Do you have any hype songs/snacks before a game? 

I do have both a hype snack-Skittles and a hype song -My boob by: asher for extra motivation before a game. 

Do you want to share any messages with your Favorite coaches or teammates? 

My favorite coach is Pittman. He is my favorite because he’s never given up on me and believes I can do anything possible. He is my hypeman but he can also humble me when needed. I don’t have a favorite teammate but I love all of them. They’ve made my high school experience interesting and more enjoyable! 

What message would you share with future players?

For future players, the main key I would share is to trust the process & commit. Mainly because it can become tempting to give up on difficult times, but in the end it all pays off.
