Avatar: Fire and Ash was a movie with such depth and raw emotion shown on screen, the motion capture and costumes make you feel like you’re on Eywa’eveng. Deborah L. Scott, lead designer of the costumes, used raw and man-made materials, such as seashells, woven leather, and stitching and sewing, to make these costumes so the Na’vi look as if they were crafted on Pandora. Lead composer Simon Franglen is working on the soundtrack for the film Way of Water. Avatar: Fire and ash sound track has sharp and gut-twisting synths for the Mangkwan clan, endorsed as the ash people. In an interview, Simon described Fire and Ash as a darker, more emotional film than previous films, so the score for Fire and Ash had to be more austere to reflect that.
Whenever the mangkwan are on screen, the music shifts to a harsher tempo with an electric cello to reflect how driving thereise by pain. Simon Franglen stated in an interview that when James Cameron heard the theme for the first time, he declared that it was perfect for the Mangkwan. In the Avatar: Fire and Ash visual dictionary, it is stated that the Mangkwan clan pierces and burns their bodies for fun, taking happiness in the pain. A subordinate named Riku blinded himself in one eye to prove his loyalty to the main villain, Varang, which shows the villain’s ruthlessness both on and off-screen.
The wind traders a clan best known for their stories and goods traveling in sky ships with a culture based around music and dance, composer simon franglen created custom instruments for the windtarders to provided a nomadic lifestyle to there mixed cultural instruments as in the film a long necked flute similar to a turkish saz and percussion instruments made using 3d modeling and sail fabrics and craved wooden beads, leather

where added later for the film motion capture.
With the beginning and end to the film started with a score and depth and despair of the characters shown of jake and neytiri grieving their son who died in the previous film with both of them mourning in different ways and been unable to see eye to eye with each other you could feel the cold and disconnected feelings in the couple and jake with his disbelief in ewya the soundtrack of “the light always returns” has an almost calming and serenity possibly reflect the aftermath of the war with “the future and the past” with neytiri singing in na’vi at the end of the film to possibly signify the history and changes made on pandora and how they must changes their ways to fight humans thus ended the film in english song overall the film was amazing with stunning visuals and story i recommend to check out avatar: fire and ash once it hits digital and to look behind the scenes with the production team as well.
